Ritz Carlton Almaty

The hotel was opened in November 2014. It is the tallest building in Almaty. One can see all of Almaty from above. The bad thing about this hotel is the location - alongside an internal ring road which gets crowded during rush hours and far away from the heart of the city. One needs a car to move from and to the hotel. On top of that, Ritz seems to be the most expensive hotel accommodation in Almaty. Unfortunately, this Ritz hotel cannot boast with its spa center - unlike other 5 star hotels it is not very comfortable. Next to the hotel there is a luxury shopping mall Esentai. Sometimes people read it as Essential. The mall hosts such brands as Louis Vuitton, Dolce Gabbana, etc. One of the strange things about this hotel is its reception is located on the 30th floor.
